  1. I just purchased Corel's Video Studio Pro 2018 Now is a great time to buy if you are interested as they are having a sale. I had the product many years ago when it was under a different brand name the video editor software was sold to Corel (I forget if it was Magix or Ulead) At that time, my employer was using BBflashback for screencasts and as such I was required to use BB for doing the various screencasts of our products. When I finally bought a new computer I forgot to transfer the license for video studio. I've only had a few minutes with this way newer version and hope to have more time in the future exploring it's features. My goal for this summer was to start producing video's again. I've been sidetracked with other things. https://www.videostudiopro.com/en/products/videostudio/#
  2. A couple of months ago I wrote a lyric called Poor John Druitt which I entered into the February Lyrics Contest. It's about a guy who was named as a suspect in the 1888 Jack the Ripper murder cases but historians are now pretty certain that he couldn't have been the killer. Indeed, he was only named a suspect after his death. He appears to have committed suicide, having been pulled from the River Thames with rocks in his pocket. (The other thing to mention is that he was a very keen cricket player and records of the matches he played form part of the reason why modern experts say that he realistically couldn't have been in the murder locations) My lyric was turned into a song by English musician James Fraser and James then went onto produce this video. The music comes in at about 20 seconds in the video
  3. My first...and so far only song collaboration that got the luxury of being put to video. I wrote the lyrics, melody and original acoustic guitar. There are some things I feel could have been better about it musically...but am totally happy with the video production itself "Walk a Mile in My Shoes"

    6x8

6 x 8 is about not learning from the first time about getting into trouble and drugs with deep regret wishing you had your life back. Freedom and peace. I wrote this song as a sequel to my first rap song Me, Myself & I back in 2016 dedicated and inspired by my son who had some rough experiences in the early stages of his life. CHORUS: C’mon yeah, c’mon it’s like that, It’s like that No mirrors to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls that can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls I can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late With my head to my knees And the gavel they slamming down Before the man in the gown I knew what was going down I had my life back once But look how I took it for granted I had my freedom and peace But damn it for a moment I had it An addict addicted to trouble Dealing and smoking dope And now I’m only dealing with Noodles and a pack of smokes I had the comfort of home to pee where it’s quiet Now I’m pissing in the prison Surrounded by riots CHORUS: No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls that can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls that can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late I stayed hungry Every day they feeding you crap But beggars can not be choosers So I’m throwing it back In line to take a fast shower They only give you minutes At home I swear I used to take a half an hour Tighty whities man I don’t even wear these Boxers, designer belts and Pants hung to my knees Had the comforts at home freedom and peace But I’m in my 6x8 And don’t even know my release CHORUS: No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls I can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls I can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late Couldn’t stay away from trouble Or learn right from wrong Should of listened to the words Of another song I was young and stupid I spent some time in Juvie In the big house now Where I swore I would never would be Wishing I was at work And making all that bread And listening to the speakers Pumping in my head Ain’t no beats up here Some people rapping now Sometimes I hear them shout Get me the fuck out CHORUS: No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls I can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late No mirror to look at in my 6x8 Surrounded by hard walls I can’t even break My knuckles, my knuckles They gone pay for mistakes I want my life back now But I know it’s too late

    6x8

6 x 8 is about not learning from the first time about getting into trouble and drugs with deep regret wishing you had your life back. Freedom and peace. I'm looking to invest in promoting this song but before I do so I would really appreciate feedback on what I can do to make it more appealing to catch the attention of the listeners. Thanks so much in advance.
