  1. I always thought of this as a hym. Would be cool to get over top production on it-
  2. Sometimes

Thanks, Pete! This really is just me messing around, but yeah, I love the simple c to f back to c. The lyrics are just whatever I thought of in the moment, dont really have any yet. Will do when I get around!!!
  3. Hi guys! Looking forward to being a more active member in this community. It is certainly active!

  4. A very simple song, but it nonetheless honest. These were just thoughts I had and didn't feel the need to sugarcoat. This is a demo, and there are mistakes. Any ideas would be great!
  5. I love songs where the instrumentals intellectually makes sense w/ the lyrics. It adds a brilliant layer. What I mean is the constant train chugging of the guitar represents perhaps the mind/body that keeps churning while waiting and and during sleep. I think the middle bit could be worked out more in the sense that I love how the instrumentals go up and then you do the "woo hoo", but I think something different aka unique has to be introduced in backing to the train strumming of the guitar. I also think double tracking your voice a higher register with your verse would sound really cool. Overall, awesome job!

  8. Today's Me

Thanks, man. I agree. Timing has been probably my biggest problem musically and it's frustrating because sometimes I have it sometimes I don't. I think investing in lessons will help with that, along with the piano playing. I appreciate the thorough feedback. I think re: the chorus I disagree in that the jazz chord in my mind works and adds a wrinkle without "sabotaging" the harmonic integrity of the song.
  9. Today's Me

Appreciate it. Lyrics are loose- Everyday I'm a marked man, cuz I've got too much to say All the while I'm a sad boy, getting in your way But you know I'm not just anyone, though its kinda hard to see, After all the things i've done, its getting hard to be, But I say hey, hey hey, hey hey, hey, hey, I'm going to the safety of my mind And I'm looking in the mirror seeing today's me, just who I am And I'm thinking while I'm staring if I'm looking at today's me, just who I am, I am, I am, I am Don't you know its gonna be alright, stay bottled up in my head, Cage every feeling I've ever had, and pretty soon it's dead, xxxxxxx xxxx But I say hey, hey hey, hey hey, hey, hey, I'm going to the safety of my mind And I'm looking in the mirror seeing today's me, just who I am And I'm thinking while I'm staring if I'm looking at today's me, just who I am, I am, I am, I am Woooooh!
  10. https://soundcloud.com/mister-nobody/now-and-forever-2 Song is in key of c and the backbone of the song is built around the c to e minor chord change.
  11. This is an idea for a song that is very "minory" based on observations of the days time passing from someone who alone in their room.
  12. Falling tear rough

    This is really really catchy.
  13. Now and Forever

Thanks man! I can't tell if my stuff sucks or not so I appreciate the feedback. I'm more interested in song composition than performing, since I do not sing well or play instruments very well, lol. I definitely love to compose and the Lennon comment was kind.
  14. This is a demo of a song I was writing. I apologize for quality, I literally stuck a tape recorder next to the piano. Thanks.
