    You Light A Fire

Hey Gary love the idea of making this a duet. My only concern I had with the read over was the line we might burn in hell. I don't know if this would take a hit commerilcially I'm not sure if the radio stations would play that. Maybe not a big deal just something to think about.

    Put Something Real On

So for any of you that has saw the Netflix show the (RANCH), this song was inspired by Sam Elliot's Character (Beau Bennett). If you have not watched it I strongly recommend giving it a watch. It's one of the funniest shows I've seen also has Ashton Kutcher in it. Sam Elliot's character is extremely old school and traditional and his lines throughout the show inspired this. Any feedback on how to improve it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Put Something Real On Tee Porter Verse 1 I like my whiskey on the rocks i like my steaks cooked rare I like an ole Ford pickup truck and i like briefs for under wear Verse 2 When it comes to my music I wanna gotta feel it i prefer three chords and the truth something we all can relate too Chorus Put something real on Conway, George Strait, George Jones I wanna gotta feel it in my bones Put something real on Verse 3 Fore' ya put that quarter in the jukebox Jus' know this dive aint into hip hop no boy band fake sell out crap play something that'll send chills through our backs Chorus Put something real on Willie, Waylon, Chris Stapleton We wanna gotta feel it in our bones Put something real on Bridge No I aint that kind of dude that wants to roll windows down and cruise ( IF THIS LINE DOESN"T MAKE SENSE IT"S A SHOT AT FLORIDA GEORGIA LINES HIT SONG CRUISE, THEY ARE THE BIGGEST POP COUNTRY BAND) I wanna hear an old steel guitar something that can mend a broken heart Chorus Put something real on Johnny cash, Stugill Simpson I wanna feel it in my bones Put something real on Put something real on Haggard, paycheck, or david coe i wanna gotta feel it in my bones put something real on

    Her Telephone Rang

Her Telephone Rang Tee Porter Verse 1 Well, I came home drunk Smelling like another woman She said she was leaving me If I pulled this again Must've thought she was kidding Or wouldn't see it through Cuz there's a note in the kitchen Says I tried to warn you Pre chorus Made myself a pot of coffee To clear my hangover Then I picked up the cell And dialed her number Well.. Chorus Rang, rang, her telephone rang It's your love again Rang, rang, her telephone rang It's your love again Message after message Time and time again Knock, knock, her doorbell rang Guess she ain't home Rang, rang, her telephone rang I hope she ain't moved on. Verse 2 Been almost a week now She still ain't called me back I've been out searching Ain't a got clue where she's at Her mama won't help She never like me anyway And all her friends think she deserves better Than a rambling man like me Pre chorus Well now maybe that's true She could probably do A whole lot better Butbthat ain't gonna stop me From dialing her number Well... Chorus Rang, rang, her telephone rang It's your love again Rang, rang, her telephone rang It's your love again Message after message Time and time again Knock, knock, her doorbell rang Guess she ain't home Rang, rang, her telephone rang I hope she ain't moved on Repeat chorus

    Where we belong

I think the title is fine as where we belong. I think really what you are missing in this lyric is solid chorus. I noticed your chorus is only two lines. You have a lot in the verses. I think you could take some of that and turn it into the chorus. The verses are really dragged out. I feel like they are all saying the same thing. My recommendation would be to cut down the verses and create a solid chorus with some of the material you cut down from the verses. Good luck with this one. As always stash or trash. I hope some of this can help. Good luck with this one. Thanks for sharing.

    Peace and Love

Man I love this! This a great story line. This is so good they could make a movie out of this song. This one of my favorite lytics I've read on here. I really don't have a critique on this one. I think this very well written and thought out! If you don't normally write songs like this I think you should consider writing more along these lines. This could be like an old school talked country song. Great write! Good luck with this one.

    Beer For Breakfast

Absolutely love this. Check out Jb and the moonshine bands song beer for breakfast real good reminded me of this. I agree with changing it to 82, gives it more of a folksy sound. Nice write good luck with this. Also If you get music to this one would love to hear it.

    Love In Peace (Total Rewrite)

This lyric made me thing of an old song (you have to stand for something or your fall for anything). To me this lyric is saying do whatever you want im okay with it, like you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Which don't get me wrong I have no problem with people being gay or straight whatever they wanna be, but I'm saying from a music standpoint people want to listen to something that stands for something. Hear you are kind of playing both sides, sitting on the fence in other words. I think this could be a much better lyric and connect with your audience more if you stand up for the LGBT community and talk about being on there side more. Not just say your okay with them being gay, but your straight. People wanna feel the lyric and connect with it, and i think this misses the mark personally. My opinion would be to make the lyric a little more aggressive and take a stand with or against LGBT whichever you feel in your heart. That's where the best music comes from. I feel like your listeners would connect to that more. As always stash or trash hope this can help nice write. Good luck with this one.
