How to Find Older Topics

To view threads older than 30 days.

Near the bottom of each board you will see a blue line that says ‘Click Here To Show Filter Options’ – If you do click on it you will see the board filter just like in the old days :)

Thanks to Salley Gardens for the tip.

Mods may want to move this to ‘How This Place Works’ at some stage

Hi guys. Along with that, I've also gone through the administration for each forum, and have made sure that in the settings for each, I've had them "show all" messages. If you visit your profile, you can decide how many messages you want to see displayed at once - but all the message should be viewable now.

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask - but I couldn't find an answer to my question here and this thread seems to fit (somehow ;-):

How long is a thread kept until it is deleted?

Or aren't they deleted and just hidden?

When looking at the Lyrics Feedback section I find no older ones than March 2012 ... so I assume, that older ones have been deleted. :blush:/>

EDIT: Just realized there are older ones available eg. in this section. So, which sections are subject to sort of "continuous cleaning up"?

Every once in a while, as the forum gets too long, there is a clean-up. It varies by forum. Older posts get deleted. Don't rely on posts made here remaining available forever.

If you want to get back to something older than we currently have, I recently came across this little tool (thanks to a poster here on the Muse) .. http://web.archive.org/web/20100307223511/http://www.musesmuse.com/forums/ (the date of the link is in March 2010 and you can adjust it at the top of the page).

I see - so there's not something like an "auto-cleanup" - thx for the info! ^_^
